You may use this list to find RPB members in Michigan who breed their animals responsibly and provide proper housing and nutrition for their dogs. Before you choose a breeder, please do your own research on the needs and characteristics of your chosen breed and the breed’s care requirements.
Buying your dog or puppy from a breeder registered with the RPB will give you peace of mind that you’re buying from a breeder who follows the best practices for the care and raising of their animals.

RPB members in Michigan must follow our Code of Ethics and provide a high standard of care for all their pets. Breeders in the state of Michigan must meet the following requirements:
Agree to abide by the RPB Code of Ethics
Have less than 10 breeding females
Be in compliance with the state and county/council animal number limits
Have all the necessary permits and licenses for dog and/or cats breeding for where you reside
In Michigan, kennel licensing is regulated locally. All of your breeding animals are required to be up to date with their vaccinations (canine and feline vaccinations and rabies vaccinations) and be registered with your county/council as required.
